i'm pierce, second-year computer engineering student @ uoft
i recently completed a summer research project where i built a virtual lab for undergraduate BME students @ uoft
i'm learning more about building reliable backend systems and infrastructure

i have many interests across software and engineering, including: back-end/infra, applied ml/dl, computer vision, and mlops. outside of building, i also have a strong interest in mathematics, specifically calculus and the theory behind data-driven models.

outside of engineering, i also love snowboarding and i'm a black belt in karate.
